Ham 3d Acrylic Keychain

To honor some of the animals that have furthered our discovery of space and safe space travel, I created the Space Buddies series. This keychain has designs on the top, middle of the acrylic sheets, and bottom to create a sort of 3d lightbox effect. The design features the Ham the Astrochimp.

Ham was named after an acronym for the laboratory that prepared him for his historic mission—the Holloman Aerospace Medical Center. He was sent into space to test how humans in particular would react to space (since Chimps have a very similar organ placement to humans) Ham made it back to earth and was retired, where he lived the rest of his life in the national zoo in DC and the Asheboro Zoo in NC (where he died).
